Tim Palmer

2025-Present


Tim Palmer grew up in Northern Montana.  His early work history was working on the family ranch and owning a few cows, construction, and Oil field drilling. He became a partner in an Industrial services company called Big Sky Industrial. He lived in Billings Montana and Spokane Washington while doing this. In 2007 he moved to

Tim Palmer grew up in Northern Montana.  His early work history was working on the family ranch and owning a few cows, construction, and Oil field drilling. He became a partner in an Industrial services company called Big Sky Industrial. He lived in Billings Montana and Spokane Washington while doing this. In 2007 he moved to the Idaho Falls area and is the Operations Manager for Watkins Distributing. His passion has been riding horses in nice country. He has been involved with the Back Country Horsemen for 30 years in 3 states. He enjoys working on trail projects. He has a lot of experience working with various user groups and government agencies. He and his wife Mona enjoy cross-country skiing in Harriman State Park. He also spend lots of time riding his horses in the Park. He is glad to be part of FHSP and contribute to helping the park.
